Requirements for Japan Tourist Visa (for Filipinos)

  1. Valid Passport

    • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Japan.

    • Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.

  2. Completed Visa Application Form

    • Fill out the Japan Tourist Visa Application Form (available from the Japanese Embassy or consulate’s website).

  3. Passport-Sized Photo

    • Provide 1 recent passport-sized photo (35mm x 45mm) with a plain white background.

  4. Round-Trip Flight Reservation

    • Submit a confirmed round-trip flight reservation showing your entry to and exit from Japan.

  5. Hotel Reservation or Itinerary

    • Provide proof of accommodation in Japan, such as hotel reservations or an invitation letter if staying with a friend or relative.

  6. Proof of Financial Capacity

    • Submit bank statements from the last 3 months showing sufficient funds to cover your trip (typically around ₱100,000).

    • If employed, include a Certificate of Employment (COE) or recent pay slips.

  7. Visa Fee

    • The visa fee is ₱1,000 for a single-entry tourist visa.
